Isle of Wight NHS becomes a LinkMedics programme partner
We are thrilled to announce that the Isle of Wight NHS Trust has joined the LinkMedics programme as a new partner. When we met with Steve (Medical Director), Joe (Chief Operating Officer), and Summer (Head of Medical Workforce) from the Isle of Wight (IOW) – they were very open about the unique challenges that presented to their organisation regarding the recruitment and retention of doctors.
The Trust’s main priorities are doctor retention, training, and pastoral care. With its isolated location, the Trust has faced significant challenges in recruiting medical professionals, but we are confident that our partnership will provide much-needed support to the local community.
At LinkMedics, we are committed to providing overseas-trained doctors with the necessary clinical skills, knowledge, and experience to hit the ground running as junior doctors. Our programme also focuses on supporting doctors’ well-being, providing pastoral care, and promoting retention within the NHS.
We are excited to work with the Isle of Wight NHS Trust to support its mission of providing high-quality healthcare to its patients. Together, we can address recruitment challenges, support the development of the next generation of healthcare professionals, and improve patient care and outcomes.
